Mr. Grokenberger graduated magna cum laude from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1972, and earned his law degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, in 1975. Mr. Grokenberger is admitted to practice before all of the courts in the State of California. He is a member of the Santa Barbara County Bar Association, and served as the Chairman of its Real Property Section for four terms.

Mr. Grokenberger is a frequent lecturer and author in the areas of Real Property Law and Landlord-Tenant relations, and has been a panelist in the field of Legal Ethics. In the past, he served as General Counsel for the Santa Barbara Rental Property Association, and is a current contributor for the Association's monthly magazine on property management issues. Having competed in National and State tennis competition he has recently lectured to Santa Barbara County Bar Association members and private groups on applying the sports model of preparation and stress management in the professional context in order to better serve their client base.
