Mr. Erickson's practice areas include business and commercial contract negotiations, entity formations and transactions, real estate acquisitions, sales, construction, land use planning and development, estate planning, employment law and internet law. Mr. Erickson serves domestic and international clients with respect to their interests throughout California. He enjoys long lasting relationships with many of his clients.

Mr. Erickson has developed a unique expertise in representing buyers and sellers of large estates, and advising on all aspects of the construction and management of such estates. A career accomplishment was partnering with an insurance underwriter to develop a unique course-of-construction insurance policy for large residential projects that incorporates geologic and hydrologic coverage previously included only in commercial construction policies. Mr. Erickson also has considerable experience and expertise in structuring inbound investments by foreign clients.

Mr. Erickson is a native of Santa Barbara. He received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1998. While at Hastings, Mr. Erickson received the American Jurisprudence Award for Wills and Trusts, and served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Robin L. Riblet, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Central District of California.

Mr. Erickson received his undergraduate education from the University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB) in 1994 and earned Dean's Honors in 1993 and 1994.

Travis C. Logue is a Partner of Rogers, Sheffield & Campbell, LLP. He leads the Firm’s real estate practice, and represents clients in a broad range of real estate transactions and high-stakes civil litigation matters. He is consistently rated a top attorney in the Santa Barbara community. Mr. Logue was recognized annually by his peers as a Super Lawyers “Rising Star" from 2015-2018, an honor awarded to the top 2.5 percent of lawyers in Southern California under the age of 40. Mr. Logue is lead counsel in the seminal case, Kracke v. City of Santa Barbara (2019), which successfully overturned the City’s controversial 2015 ban of short-term vacation rentals in the Coastal Zone. This landmark victory, in the face of a vigorous defense by the City, preserved important individual property rights and revived affordable accommodations. He is also counsel of record in numerous wrongful death, personal injury and property damage cases filed against Southern California Edison and various public entities stemming from the Thomas Fire and Montecito Mudslides. These “mass tort,” complex civil litigation cases are pending in Los Angeles Superior Court as the Southern California Fire Cases (Judicial Council Coordinated Proceeding No. 4965).

In addition, Mr. Logue is routinely engaged by ultra-high net worth clients with a variety of real estate holdings, from office buildings and apartments to ranches and luxury estates. Transactional clients appreciate his strong litigation practice and background in dispute resolution, along with his specific experience navigating challenges faced by real estate owners on the Central Coast. He has made numerous appearances in front of public agencies for land use issues and has handled dozens of mediations and arbitrations required under the California Association of Realtors contract. In 2018, he represented a client in the single sale of a large portfolio of properties with a price in the mid-eight figures. During the same year, he represented a different client in the sale of its luxury, beachfront estate in the eight figures, a record for the region. He recently negotiated a long-term commercial lease exceeding 130,000 square feet to a Fortune 500 company. Braden R. Leck focuses on advising individuals and businesses on real estate and business transactions, intellectual property matters, estate planning and trust administration.

Prior to joining Rogers, Sheffield & Campbell, LLP, Mr. Leck was a partner at the Santa Barbara law firm of Seed Mackall LLP. Mr. Leck began his legal career in Los Angeles at the international law firm of Latham & Watkins LLP. Jason W. Wansor is the chair of the Firm’s Litigation Department.  An accomplished civil litigator, his practice focuses on personal injury and wrongful death claims, real estate, and land use disputes, products liability, business torts, construction law, and will and trust contests.  In 2018, he was awarded “10 Best Attorneys” for California by the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys for achieving exceptional and outstanding client service.

Most recently, Mr. Wansor prevailed at trial against the City of Santa Barbara in the highly publicized litigation challenging the City’s ban against short-term vacation rentals in the Coastal Zone (Kracke v. City of Santa Barbara).  The victory against the City preserved important individual property rights in allowing for the continued operation of short-term rentals while re-opening affordable lodging alternatives to families desiring to stay near Santa Barbara’s beautiful coastline.

Mr. Wansor currently represents multiple families and individuals who lost loved ones, homes, personal property and suffered other significant injuries as a result of the devasting Thomas Fire and related Montecito debris flows. These “mass tort” complex civil litigation cases are pending in Los Angeles Superior Court as the Southern California Fire Cases (Judicial Council Coordinated Proceeding No. 4965).

Mr. Haan chairs Rogers, Sheffield and Campbell, LLP’s Wine Law Group and practices in the areas of business law, real estate law, and wine law. Mr. Grokenberger graduated magna cum laude from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1972, and earned his law degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, in 1975. Mr. Rogers specializes in business litigation and transactions.
He has been a member of the State Bar of California since 1999 and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Central District of California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. David is one of the top tax and estate planning attorneys on the Central Coast. He also has substantial experience and expertise advising U.S. clients on wealth preservation, trust and estate administration and real estate, finance and business transactions, and advising foreign clients on structuring inbound purchases and investments and U.S. estate and gift tax planning.

Mr. David is well versed in all aspects of advanced estate and gift tax planning. The primary focus of his estate planning practice, however, is advising clients on personal family issues, including assisting with clients' philanthropic goals, helping to educate heirs about legal and financial matters, establishing trusts to create incentives for heirs to be self-sufficient, protecting family assets from heirs' creditors (including potential future ex-spouses) and providing tools to trustees to deal with substance abuse issues.

These changes avoided the risk of losing over $70 million of a client’s stock from investment bank bankruptcies during the 2008-2009 financial crisis.

Mr. Campbell has been a civil litigator for over 30 years. Mr. Campbell’s accomplishments include a $4.9 million arbitration award against McGaw, Inc., a publicly traded multinational corporation, and a $28 million dollar jury verdict on behalf of the Schlinger Foundation in Schlinger Foundation v. He served concurrently as an officer of 41 of the company's subsidiaries and divisions with a range of titles, including Assistant Secretary, Assistant Treasurer, and Vice President Taxes. Mr. Tomlinson is a member of the California Bar and an honorary member of the Kentucky Bar.
